Early Help means identifying and providing effective early support for children and young people who are at risk of poor outcomes. The followign video will explain further.

What is Early Help Intervention?

Early Help for Families

Hunloke Park Primary School, is a school that is deeply commited to supporting every family within our school. We have an Early Help Manager, Mr J Cooper, who will provide out children and their Parents/Carers with pastoral support. Mr Cooper will support with the following areas:

  • Attendance Issues
  • Support families with Team Around the Family (TAF – Voluntary meetings led by the school and involve and support families with other agencies) meetings.
  • Provide support for parents/carers with behaviour at home
  • Provide pupils in school with 1:1 support and group pastoral interventions
  • Provide tailored support for pupils with Special Education Needs
  • Plan and deliver active provision at lunchtime for all pupils across the school

What support is available during the school holidays?

If a family wishes to contact school regarding a safeguarding issue during a school holiday, they should email  earlyhelp@hunlokepark.derbyshire.sch.uk . This email will be monitored during the school holidays. A member of staff will be in contact with you in under one week. This email is for non-emergencies only. For emergencies, please contact the following identified services:
